Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms and conditions govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Satellite Application Conference 2025 (hereinafter referred to as the "Conference") and users in connection with the use of all services (hereinafter referred to as the "Services") provided through the website (hereinafter referred to as the "Site") operated by the Conference.
Article 2 (Definitions)
The definitions of the terms used in these terms and conditions are as follows:
"Site" refers to the virtual business place or service space set up by the Conference using information and communication equipment such as computers to provide services to users.
"User" refers to any person who accesses the Site and receives services provided by the Conference, whether a member or a non-member.
"Member" refers to a person who has provided personal information and completed membership registration, thus continuously receiving information and using services provided by the Site.
"Non-member" refers to a person who uses the services provided by the Site without registering as a member.
Article 3 (Effect and Modification of the Terms)
These terms and conditions take effect when posted on the Site or otherwise notified to users.
The Conference may revise these terms in compliance with applicable laws such as the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
In case of revision, the Conference will specify the effective date and reason for the change and notify users by posting on the main page of the Site from 7 days before the effective date. If the changes are unfavorable to users, a grace period of at least 30 days will be given.
The revised terms shall take effect from the announced effective date.
Article 4 (Provision and Modification of Services)
The Conference performs the following tasks:
Providing information and related content about the event
Accepting and processing event participation applications
Other tasks determined by the Conference
The Conference may change the content of the services in the event of changes in technical specifications or unavoidable circumstances.
Regarding service suspension and information storage/use:
The Conference is not responsible for any failure to store, deletion, non-delivery, or loss of communication data caused by force majeure such as national emergencies, power outages, or service equipment failures beyond the Site's control.
If the Site must temporarily suspend services due to unavoidable reasons, the Conference may provide prior notice one week in advance. If circumstances do not allow, the notice period may be reduced or omitted.
If services are permanently suspended due to the Site’s circumstances, a one-month prior notice will be provided.
Article 5 (Formation of Service Agreement)
The service agreement is established when a user completes the registration form provided by the Site.
The Conference may reject or cancel applications in the following cases:
False information is provided in the application
The application violates these terms, is illegal, or deemed improper
Article 6 (User Obligations)
Users shall not:
Provide false information during application or modification
Use another person’s information
Modify information posted on the Site
Transmit or post information (e.g., computer programs) not approved by the Conference
Infringe on the intellectual property rights of the Conference or third parties
Damage the reputation or interfere with the work of the Conference or third parties
Post or disclose obscene, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content on the Site
Article 7 (Copyright and Usage Restrictions)
Copyrights and intellectual property rights for materials created by the Conference belong to the Conference.
Users may not copy, transmit, publish, distribute, or broadcast information obtained from the Site for commercial purposes or allow third parties to use it without prior approval from the Conference.
Article 8 (Dispute Resolution)
The Conference prioritizes handling complaints and suggestions submitted by users. If prompt processing is not possible, users will be informed of the reason and schedule.
Legal disputes arising from electronic commerce between the Conference and users shall be governed by the court having jurisdiction over the user's address at the time of filing. If the address is unknown or if the user resides overseas, the competent court shall be determined under the Civil Procedure Act.
